Shocking New Video Angle Shows Moment Renee Good Was Killed From ICE Agent’s Viewpoint

A new video recorded by an ICE agent shows the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis. The agent who fired the shots filmed the footage on his phone.

The 47 second clip shows ICE agent Jonathan Ross walking toward Good’s maroon SUV on a Minneapolis street. He holds his phone up and records as he approaches the vehicle.

Good sits in the driver’s seat with her window down. Her voice can be heard as she speaks calmly while Ross films around the front and side of the SUV.

The SUV is stopped diagonally across the road. Ross moves closer while he continues recording the encounter.

Another ICE agent then approaches the driver’s side, but the camera does not show him. He repeatedly orders Good to get out of the vehicle.

“Get out of the f****** car,” the agent shouts. The command sounds clearly in the recording.

Voices overlap as the agents position themselves around the SUV. The clip does not show how many officers stand near the car.

Vehicle movement and gunfire

Good’s wife, Rebecca Good, stands outside the SUV holding her own phone. The video shows her near the driver’s side window.

Rebecca shouts to her wife to leave the area. “Drive, drive,” she says.

Good then moves the SUV. The vehicle reverses slightly before it turns forward.

As the SUV moves, Ross shifts his phone and changes the camera angle. The movement makes it hard to see where each agent stands.

Ross says “Whoa!” just before the shots ring out. Three gunshots fire in quick succession.

The video does not show the exact moment Ross fires his weapon. However, the recording clearly captures the sound of the gunfire.

The SUV then speeds down the street. It crashes a short distance away from the original location.

Aftermath and ongoing investigations

Renee Good, who was 37, suffered gunshot wounds during the confrontation. She later died from those injuries.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene. The SUV struck a parked vehicle and a light pole.

No ICE agents suffered serious injuries during the incident. Authorities have not said that the SUV hit any officer.

The cellphone footage does not show whether the vehicle made contact with anyone. It also does not show what happened before Ross began recording.

The video does not explain why agents approached Good’s vehicle. It also does not show what instructions they gave before filming started.

Investigators have also reviewed bystander and surveillance videos. None of the clips show the entire sequence of events.

Law enforcement officials say they continue to examine all video and physical evidence. Several investigations remain active.

Federal officials say Ross believed the SUV threatened his life. They say he fired in self defence as the vehicle moved forward.

Some administration officials claim Good tried to use her car as a weapon. Local and state leaders have challenged that claim.

Minneapolis officials have demanded full transparency from federal agencies. They want access to all video and evidence.

The video release has renewed public attention on the shooting. It has also reignited debate about federal use of force.

Community members have held protests in Minneapolis and other cities. They call for accountability and clearer explanations.

Investigators have not announced when they will finish their reviews. Authorities have not filed any charges so far.
