A “tiny” wife married to a literal giant has finally answered the one question people constantly ask about their relationship.

Fans have always been fascinated by the extreme height difference between Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and his wife, especially because he played Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in Game of Thrones.

At 6ft 9, he towers above everyone, but especially his wife, who stands at just 5ft tall.

Thor is known worldwide as one of the strongest athletes ever, winning huge titles and breaking insane strength records. But online, people seem more interested in how this huge man and his much smaller wife manage everyday things together.

The curiosity has gotten so intense that fans have been asking increasingly personal questions about their romance.

Now, the couple has finally answered one of the most popular — and surprisingly innocent — questions.

Their relationship and heartbreaking loss

Thor has been married to Kelsey Henson since October 2018.

He celebrated the day with a post saying: “It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife! I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives!”

Despite the sweet love story, the couple faced devastating heartbreak in 2023 when they lost their daughter, Grace Morgan Hafthorsdottir, who was born stillborn at 21 and a half weeks.

“Words cannot describe our pain of this loss or our happiness at being able to spend time with our daughter,” they wrote on Instagram.

They said she had blonde lashes, a tiny smile, and “the love we feel for her is overwhelming.” The grief remains with them, but so does the love.

The couple also share a son named Stormur, born September 2025.

Thor is also a father to daughter Theresa Líf from a previous relationship. Through everything, they’ve stayed strong as a family, supporting each other through painful moments and celebrating every joyful one.

Thor has admitted that while he rarely gets challenged in person, he receives non-stop trolling from anonymous online critics. “You just get internet warriors,” he said.

He blocks anyone who targets his family and added: “I’m the world’s strongest man. What have they achieved?”
